Beverly P. Sewell celebrated her 90th birthday with family at Maddox Ranch House.
She was born on April 13, 1927, in Wellsville, to Maurice and Sarah Ann Parkinson. She graduated from South Cache High School.
During World War II, she worked at the Defense Depot Ogden, later transferring to Hill Air Force Base. During that time she met Sherman Sewell, and they were married on November 29, 1946, in Wellsville, Utah. A short time later, their vows were solemnized in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple. They celebrated 70 wonderful years together. Sherm passed away on April 4, 2017.
Beverly is active in the LDS Church where she has served in many position, including Primary President, Young Women Presidency and Relief Society Stake Board.
She worked at Beehive Clothing for many years and served as a volunteer at the Family History Center for 14 years.
She enjoyed traveling and camping with family, and also friends from "Over The Hill Sam Chapter." She enjoys attending the Ogden LDS Temple and spending time with her family.
Her children and their spouses are: Ron and Diana Sewell, Scott and Cindy Sewell, Karl and Jan Sewell, Shelley and Dave Barlow and Jackie and Mark Dotson.
She has 14 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren.
