OGDEN — The last piece of the Ogden Twilight Concert Series puzzle is finally in place.
Earlier Tuesday, Ogden Twilight announced that Of Monsters and Men will be the headlining act on Sept. 17 in the Ogden Amphitheater. With that announcement, the complete Ogden Twilight season is now set.
Of Monsters and Men is an Icelandic band that meshes chamber pop with dramatic, highly composed indie rock, according to AllMusic.com. The group formed in 2009, and its debut album, “My Head Is an Animal,” was a multi-platinum seller. Their first breakthrough single, “Little Talks,” topped charts around the world.
The band’s new album, “Fever Dream,” comes out on July 26.
Tickets for Of Monsters and Men go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, May 17, at www.24tix.com. General admission is $10 in advance and $15 on the day of the show. VIP tickets are $50. For the ultimate Of Monsters & Men fans, also available is a special “OMAM Soundcheck Party Experience” for $175, or an “OMAM On-Stage Experience” for $199.
Doors and food vendors will open at 5 p.m.; the show begins at 6 p.m.
