Tickets go on sale Friday for the Grammy nominated heavy metal band Disturbed, which performs Jan. 19 in Salt Lake City.

Disturbed recently announced its new Evolution World Tour in support of the band’s seventh studio album, the just-released “Evolution.” The Canadian band Three Days Grace will join them on the North American leg of the tour, which begins Jan. 9 in San Diego. The Utah concert comes seven shows into the tour. In April, Disturbed will move on to tour Europe.

Tickets for the Jan. 19 concert at Vivint Smart Home Arena in Salt Lake go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 26, at www.disturbed1.com/tour, or through ticketmaster.com. Tickets are $59 for upper-bowl seats, $79 for the lower bowl, and $847 for the standing-room-only floor.

Disturbed, fronted by David Draiman, formed in 1994 in Chicago and has sold more than 13 million albums. The band’s current single, “Are You Ready,” has spent four weeks atop the Billboard Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks Chart.

The Evolution World Tour will see the four-piece band playing a mix of classic hits like “Down With the Sickness, “Inside the Fire” and “The Sound of Silence,” as well as new tracks like “A Reason to Fight” and the aforementioned “Are You Ready.”
